Okay. Work smarter, not harder. Clearly Daiki won this round, but there was hope yet. Letting Daiki have his phone, Em settled against him, and took a moment to think. Now, one might assume that if Dai took his phone, he didn't have his own. There was also the matter of the letter Dai sent instead of a text (a letter that happened to be tucked inside his guitar case at the moment). These two "clues" could clearly indicate Dai had left his phone, or lost it.
But they could also just be Dai being Dai. It seemed unlikely that Dai would return Emrys' phone, so, Emrys reached for Dai's jacket pocket, feeling for the phone. He'd seen Dai reach into his jacket a million times, but he couldn't feel the phone.
"If you figure out my password, I'll change it." Emrys "threatened". He'd probably change it. Maybe. "<b>Do you really want to go through this again?[/b]" It wouldn't be the worst thing in Em's mind, that was for sure, but he wouldn't emphasize that to Daiki right now. Switching to Dai's other pocket, this time his front jeans pocket Em scowled. No luck there, either. Reaching around Dai (it was easier to reach around than to check the other pocket), Em <i>finally</i> found the phone in his back pocket. Humming happily, Emrys pulled the phone free. Unlike him, Dai's phone was password free! (Really, they should work on that, Dai was way too famous and important to let his information and pictures fall into the wrong hands).
Cuddling closer into Daiki's embrace, Emrys concealed the phone as he typed in his twin's number in the new text field. He didn't want to pry into Dai's contact list, and he doubted Yoshi was in his contacts anyway. Typing a quick message: 'I hurt myself in the auditorium, can you bring ice?' The ice wasn't for him. Emrys had wanted to get ice for Daiki, to help reduce the swelling so the impulsive singer would be able to perform.
Deleting the message so Dai couldn't see what was sent, Emrys slipped the phone in his pocket, freeing up his hands to wrap around Daiki.
"What day did you?" Em hinted vaguely, throwing back Dai's question at him. His password, his "pin" was the day he joined Daiki's band, so it truly was what day Daiki invited him to.
